Megan has dual citizenship both in the United States and the United Kingdom. Although she was born in Houston, TX, she was raised by her English parents and moved around quite a bit. She obtained a Magna Cum Laude in her Bachelors of the arts (BA) degree in 2013 from the University of Northern Colorado with a major in Theatre Arts: Acting and a minor in Dance. Immediately after graduating, she moved to London, England to study for her Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) at East 15 Acting School. There she has had incredible intensive training from various guest artists and her directors of her course Andrea Brooks and Robin Sneller. See her resume for more detailed information regarding her training. She will be graduating on July 17th, 2015 with a first.
Throughout her training, Megan has worked with Simon Usher, Stephen Unwin, Russell Lucas, Jamie Harper, and Colleen Prendergast
Megan, along with six other women, founded Spectra Theatre Company in 2014. Their aim is to tell original works of theatre centered around women and their perspectives on historical, social, or political events. Their first piece, After Penelope, has had two successful sell-out runs in London, a sell-out show at the Fringe Festival in Rome, and a successful show at the RADA festival. She then completed two successful runs at the Camden Fringe Festival with the company in one of the top billed shows Harry's Girls.
In her free time Megan enjoys painting, sewing, and crafting in general. She also loves hiking, swimming and traveling. When it comes down to it, as long as Megan is dancing and acting (with the occasional dabble in singing) she is one happy lady! She loves to laugh and learn new things every day. She wants to use her talents as a way to teach others and transport them to different worlds and events that they may not normally get to experience.
